How Do I Update My UVO System?

If you're a Kia owner, there's a good chance that there was a reason you picked this car brand. Of course the team at our Kia dealership in Milwaukee, WI, is biased, but one of our top reasons for selecting a Kia is its host of state-of-the-art technology. Many new Kia models are outfitted with UVO infotainment and telematics systems, which allow drivers to enjoy their drives like never before. Now, there's even more to love about Kia cars and SUVs. There's a new update available for vehicles outfitted with UVO systems, and it's easy to install yourself!

What's in the New UVO Software Update?

Once you download the new UVO software update, your system will be able to support both Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™. These systems allow you to connect your smartphone with your vehicle seamlessly so you can access your messages, take calls and use your phone's apps on the go. You'll also see improvements to the user interface as well as helpful map updates in vehicles with navigation systems.
