Many new Kia models at our Kia dealership in Milwaukee, WI, are compatible with Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™. In fact, Kia UVO technology now supports these smartphone apps, making it even easier to stream music, place calls and navigate to new destinations.

What Does Apple CarPlay® Do?

Apple CarPlay® brings smartphone connectivity to new levels with its convenient app and integration with Kia UVO. With this app, you can access everything you need from your iPhone when you're on the go. Siri® voice control ensures you keep your eyes on the road when you want to send texts, read a message you received or place a call. Additionally, you can use your navigation, music streaming and audiobook apps by selecting them on your UVO screen. To get started, download the Apple CarPlay® app and choose Setup on the UVO display.

What Does Android Auto™ Do?

Android Auto™ technology is similar to Apple CarPlay®, except it allows you to connect an Android device to your Kia. Thanks to Kia UVO, you can access all the features you know and love on your Android phone of choice. Much like Apple's smartphone connectivity interface, Android Auto™ makes it easy for you to make calls, send messages, choose a destination and more. A few of the apps you can download for Android Auto™ include WhatsApp, Spotify and Google Hangouts. Plus, you can enjoy more than 30 million songs on Google Play Music™ with a complimentary 90-day trial.
